Privacy Policy

The short version: we ask for your name and email only to reply to you. No mailing lists, no selling data, no advertising trackers without your consent.

01Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Prompta Ltd, Rm B, 9/F, 29 Hing Wo St, Aberdeen, Hong Kong Island. For any privacy question write to [email protected].

02What we collect

• Application form: your name and email address.
• Correspondence: what you write to us by email.
• If you become a student: your platform account, progress, the tasks you submit and the teacher's reviews. Payment is handled by a payment provider; we do not see or store your full card details.
• Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes IP address, browser type and request time to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
• Preferences: your language and your cookie choice (see section 06).

We do not ask for sensitive data and ask you not to include it in your tasks.

We do not send marketing emails, we do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

04Who else sees it

Only service providers who help us run the Course and only as far as needed: website and form hosting, email, the learning platform and the payment provider. They process data on our instructions. Some of them may be located outside your country, including in the USA; in that case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

05How long we keep it

• Applications that did not lead to a purchase — up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Student data — for as long as you have access, and deleted on request after that.
• Payment and accounting records — for the period required by tax law.

06Cookies and local storage

We keep this minimal. The website stores only what it needs to work. Anything else — analytics or advertising — is used only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Currently no such tools are installed; if we add them, they will load only with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or clear cookies and site data in your browser.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected] — we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

08Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to data to those who need it and choose providers with sound security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you without undue delay if a breach puts your data at risk.

09Children

The Course is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 16.

10Changes

We may update this Policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be announced on the website or by email.
